Lucky Block World Mining Session Planner

Mine Diamond Lucky Blocks on a schedule instead of a vibe: enter a blocks-per-minute rate you measured yourself, get session totals and goal timelines from transparent arithmetic — with no invented game rate anywhere in the math.

Plan from your own mining rate

Measure your blocks per minute in-game first. This tool has no default rate and does not claim an official drop or mining speed.

Method

How the math works

Two formulas, no hidden constants, and a deliberate refusal to guess what the game has never published.

Planning a session?

Session blocks = floor(rate × minutes)

Your rate times your available minutes, floored to whole blocks. Enter 45 blocks/min and 30 minutes and the planner returns floor(45 × 30) = 1,350 blocks — the honest count of what a half-hour of focused mining yields at your pace.

Chasing a goal?

Goal minutes = ceil(target blocks ÷ rate)

Your target divided by your rate, rounded up to the next minute. A 5,000-block target at 45 blocks/min costs ceil(5000 ÷ 45) = 112 minutes — just under two hours, which you can split across however many sittings your evening allows.

The 45 blocks/min in these examples is illustration only — it is not a game value. Your plan is only as good as your own measurement.

Worked example

From measurement to plan in three steps

The 45 blocks/min below is an illustration — your number comes from your own timed minute, and the tool's recap shows every input you gave it.

  1. 1. Measure

In-game, mine for one timed minute and count blocks — say you break 45. That single number is the only game-dependent input, and it is yours, not ours.

  2. 2. Plan

    45 blocks/min × 30 minutes → floor(45 × 30) = 1,350 blocks. Or reverse it: 5,000-block target ÷ 45 blocks/min → ceil(5000 ÷ 45) = 112 minutes.

  3. 3. Interpret

A 5,000-block goal costs just under two hours at your measured pace. Splitting it into two sittings is a scheduling choice — the math does not care, and neither does the lucky-block world, which the group says you can “never mine all of”.

Why the tool refuses to provide a rate

Lucky Block World has no published mining speed, and rates in a sandbox genuinely vary — by device, by server, by how dense the lucky blocks run where you dug. Any default number we injected would be fiction with a calculator attached. The group's own tagline, “you can never mine all of them,” makes planning a matter of your pace against an unbounded world, which is exactly what a player-measured rate models. Re-measure after each update — the live place's newest is dated September 27, 2026, and update days are when block behavior can quietly change.

Reading your result honestly

The output is a schedule, not a promise: it tells you what your measured pace produces, and it is only as current as your last sample. If sessions keep landing short of plan, your measured rate included luck — measure again mid-session and let the average absorb the variance. And remember what the count does not include: block values and drops are undocumented, so a “slower” hour can out-earn a fast one the moment a rare find enters the picture.

FAQ

Calculator questions

Is the mining planner an official Lucky Block World formula?

No — and no official formula exists to copy. The developer has never published a mining rate, so the tool uses the only honest input available: a blocks-per-minute rate you measured in your own session, with transparent arithmetic on top.

How do I measure my blocks-per-minute rate?

Two ways. Quick: mine for exactly one timed minute and count the blocks you broke. Better: note your block count and the clock at the start of a normal session, then divide blocks mined by minutes played. The second averages over your real pace, including detours and inventory trips.

Why does the result use floor and ceiling?

floor() on session blocks keeps the promise conservative — 30 minutes at 45.7 blocks/min shows 1,371 complete blocks, not a fraction you can't mine. ceil() on goal minutes rounds the other way so you always budget enough time: a 5,000-block goal at 45/min costs 112 minutes, never 111.1.

My measured rate changed between sessions. Which do I use?

Use the most recent sample taken after the newest game update (the live place's last update was September 27, 2026), and re-measure after every update. Rates legitimately differ by device, server population and where in the lucky-block world you mine.

Does the planner know drop rates or rare finds?

No. No drop table for Diamond Lucky Blocks has ever been published. The planner counts blocks; what comes out of them is your own discovery, and the tool will not pretend otherwise.

Put the estimate to use

Budget a house next: the build planner turns shell dimensions into a block count you can divide by your rate. The beginner guide shows where a timed sample fits the first-session route, and the source register records what is official versus arithmetic.
